Infinity

USM Infinity, led by Desmond, a committed PhD student from USM, is a pioneering research team at the forefront of advancements in Service Robotics. Under the supervision and mentorship of Dr. Syazreen, the team is dedicated to developing cutting-edge robotic solutions that enhance human-robot interactions and boost efficiency across diverse service industries. USM Infinity’s research focuses on integrating AI-driven control and sensing technologies into service robots, empowering them to autonomously execute complex tasks and adapt effectively to real-world challenges.

NSBot Infinity Duo: ATLAS and ZERO

Atlas and Zero are engineered with a design philosophy that prioritizes user-friendliness and approachability. Their smooth contours, friendly facial displays, and ergonomic features ensure that they seamlessly integrate into human environments. Whether assisting with daily chores or providing company, these robots are not just tools but companions, offering a warm and engaging presence that enhances user interaction and trust. Their design reflects a commitment to creating technology that feels both natural and welcoming.

Infinity Titan

We are proud to share a major milestone at the RoboCup Malaysia Open 2025, where our team, Infinity Titan – comprising postgraduate and undergraduate engineering students – secured second place in the Major League @Home category. Under the mentorship of Dr. Syazreen, team members Chris (team leader), Desmond, and Jun Keat worked tirelessly to develop ZERO, an AI-driven service robot designed to perform household tasks intelligently and autonomously. This achievement represents a significant step forward in our ongoing journey to advance AI-driven robotics, combining machine learning, computer vision, and autonomous decision-making to create smarter, more capable home-assistance technologies.
